• Application of behavioural economics to incentivization of practitioners, providers and populations
• Developing proposals for improving financial efficiency of health systems
• Health financing and health economics studies for sector reforms
• Developing alternative models of health care financing
• A key member of the health-care solutions team which will endeavor to use tools of finance and technology to solve issues of access and affordability in remote populations.
• The position will be based out of Chennai but will require 10-20% travel, primarily in rural Tamil Nadu, India.
  

• Post graduate degree/ diploma in Economics, Business Management, Public Health. Those with specialization in health care financing or behavioral economics would be preferred. A minimum of two years experience in policy or in a teaching/research role (including graduate research) is required.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills in health costing.
• A good understanding of behavioral economics.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
